Successful 720-hour Reliability Verification Operation of Unit No.1 in Puttalam Power Plant, Sri Lanka

    Unit No.1 in Puttalam 3×;300MW Coal-Fired Power Plant successfully completed its 720-hour reliability verification operation. In order to express the appreciations to HTC for its high-quality service supplied during installation and commissioning, China Machinery Engineering Corporation (CMEC) sent a special telegraph to HTC.

The special telegraph pointed out: “successful 720-hour reliability verification operation of unit No.1 is tied to the support from HTC as well as the hardworking and close cooperation of HTC’s field service persons. Especially Mr. Shang Ronglai, the experts of the Service Department of HTC, whose service spirit of “keeping the user in mind at all time and all places” ensured the installation quality and schedule of turbine proper. Sri Lanka Puttalam Project Department of CMEC is herewith to express its hearted appreciation to HTC and HTC’s persons who supported and participated in the performance of this Project”.

The special telegraph also pointed out: “Since the preliminary stage of the Project, HTC has always acted in view of the overall situation and project schedule, incorporated into the CMEC fleet to energetically work, successfully finished manufacture, installation and commissioning, and laid solid foundations for successful, safe, reliable operation of Unit No.1. We are firmly convicted that HTC and CMEC will continue close cooperation and create remarkable achievements in the performance of Phase II Project. Wish HTC and CMEC long-term friendly cooperating and developing, flourishing and jointly writing a new chapter for electric construction export industry of China.
